Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler stated that they will focus on projects that will strengthen the industrial infrastructure of the city and provide employment in the new period. Mesudiye Organized Industrial Zone, one of the mega projects approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, and milk and cheese products and forest products studies planned in Akkuş and Aybastı will be among the main topics of the new period.
Mayor Güler, who made a statement regarding the issue at the February Assembly Meeting of Ordu Metropolitan Municipality, said:
“We will open 3 organized industries in the new period. In this regard, the one in Mesudiye is very ahead. Animal Specialized Organized Industrial Zone. There will be 15 thousand head of animals. There are studies on forest products related to the wood industry in Akkuş, and on the other hand, studies on milk and cheese products in Aybastı. We will increase their number. We have 150 workplaces ready. At the same time, we established 7 companies. So we are building a factory. We continue production. "Here we developed new models on city economies."
