Guaranteed flower production, which Muğla Metropolitan Municipality started with Köyceğiz Beyobası Agricultural Development Cooperative in 2015, reached 30 greenhouses in a short time and has produced 25 Million flowers to date.
In addition, the Metropolitan Municipality, which implemented the Koku Valley project on 27 decares of land, ensured that Yerkesik Yeniköy District of Menteşe District became a lavender center and hosted lavender festivals. With the project implemented on 20 thousand 740 m² of land in Marmaris Çamlı District, the Metropolitan Municipality planted 125 types of medicinal plants in the Medicinal Plants Collection garden.
In order to support the producers in Muğla, which is an agricultural city, Muğla Metropolitan Municipality has distributed 2014 thousand 151 almond, walnut, olive, fig and chestnut saplings to the producers since 780. These saplings, distributed by the Metropolitan Municipality, were planted on approximately 6 thousand decares of land and 1805 producers benefited.
Distributing Hair Goats within the scope of supporting agriculture and livestock in Muğla, the Metropolitan Municipality has provided 11 hair goat support to 379 female producers in 1137 districts so far. This project of the Metropolitan Municipality, which distributed 2 female and 1 male hair goats to support women producers and enable them to participate in production, attracted great attention throughout the province.
Again, the Metropolitan Municipality, which is nearing the completion of the establishment of the Muğla Commodity Exchange and the Food Analysis Laboratory, will be able to analyze olive oil and honey in this laboratory.
Muğla Metropolitan Municipality brought together the agricultural cooperatives operating in Muğla under the name of "Muğla Agricultural Collaboration Business Cooperative" and pioneered their unification under a single roof. Muğla Agricultural Collaboration cooperative made protocols with 14 cooperatives, enabling the cooperatives to combine their forces.
