The official opening of the Türkmenbaşı Underpass, which was put into service by Adana Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeydan Karalar, was held with the concert of artist Tan Taşçı.

Stating that they have always been and will continue to be with the people despite the pandemic, earthquake and all the difficult conditions, Mayor Zeydan Karalar noted that 894 thousand tons of asphalt could be poured in the previous period when the financial conditions were much more favorable, and that 2 million 850 thousand tons of asphalt had been poured so far in their period. reported. Mayor Zeydan Karalar continued his words as follows: “We built 5 new boulevards, 3 underpasses, 44 km of bicycle paths, we bought 111 new buses, and we are preparing to buy 50 more electric buses. Thus, we will make Adana a city that takes serious measures against global warming. We renovated 221 streets and boulevards, purchased 310 construction machines and reduced the municipality's rental expenses by 700 million lira annually. We opened 3 dormitories and 11 neighborhood centers. We built a park of 355 thousand square meters. We distributed 5 thousand public cards and 500 thousand food parcels. We did not forget the farmer; We supported more than 4 million seedlings and distributed 1700 solar energy panels to producers. While doing these, we did not discriminate against votes or political parties. We built 2340 km of water transmission lines, replaced 440 thousand meters of asbestos pipes, and built 386 thousand 441 meters of rainwater and sewage lines. We have eliminated this problem in many points that form lakes during heavy rains. We have completed 4 new treatment plants, our preparations for treatment in 4 more districts are complete, we will lay the foundations this year. We solved the water problem in Ceyhan, Yumurtalık and Karataş districts. We laid the foundation of the project that will bring water from Yedigöze Dam, which will solve the water problem of İmamoğlu and Kozan districts and some villages of Ceyhan. We will complete the 4 billion lira project in our second term. We carried out important works in Tufanbeyli, Feke and Saimbeyli. We built 99 water tanks and we reduce water loss and leakage throughout the city with our SCADA application. When the whole of Adana is included in this application area, we will save approximately 40 million cubic meters of water annually. “We installed very strong water lines.”

Mayor Zeydan Karalar explained that they organized cultural and artistic activities intensively in Adana and stated that Adana is now talked about with its positive aspects on the country's agenda and the number of tourists has increased exponentially.

Mayor Zeydan Karalar said that a new bus terminal will be built in the second term, a 150 megawatt solar power plant will be established, thus 65 million lira of electricity will be sold in addition to the current electricity expense of 65 million lira, and a new boulevard, marina, elderly living center, new libraries will be built from south to north. and announced that dormitories would be built.
