Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality continues the Balıkayağı Bridge Interchange project, which it started on Balıkayağı Boulevard, in order to relieve city traffic. Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeynel Abidin examined the works on site.
Beyazgül stated that the work is continuing in a coordinated manner to complete the Köprülü Junction in a short time and put it at the service of our citizens.
With the initiatives of Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeynel Abidin Beyazgül, another interchange with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure is being added to Şanlıurfa on Balıkaağı Boulevard.
Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeynel Abidin Beyazgül, together with the Head of the Technical Affairs Department and the Head of the Transportation Department, examined the Balıkayağı Bridge Intersection work on site and received information about the works from the technical team.
Mayor Beyazgül, who also met with tradesmen and citizens in the region, stated that work is continuing to complete and open a section of the road within 1 month.

Mayor Beyazgül said, “We have an intersection work on Balıkayağı Boulevard. It is carried out with the support of Highways and our Metropolitan Municipality. We examined the work here on site. They stated that while 872 of the 706 bored piles to be driven in the works were driven, the remaining 166 bored piles will be completed soon. Work continues on both routes. We met with the contractor company officials about accelerating the work here and he said that they expressed their opinion that this issue should be done more urgently.

As Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality, we provide the necessary support to carry out the work and transactions here faster. We work in collaboration here. Hopefully, when this route is opened, this congestion in our Karaköprü district will also be relieved. We follow the studies closely.
