During the 111-day campaign period in Kayseri Sugar's three factories, another record was broken with 3 thousand 660 tons of sugar produced by processing 554 million 740 thousand tons of beet.
Kayseri Beet Growers Cooperative Chairman of the Board of Directors Hüseyin Akay, Kayseri Şeker Chairman of the Board of Directors Hurşit Dede, Members of the Board of Directors and Auditors, Kayseri Şeker General Manager İsmail Gedik, Şeker-İş Union Kayseri Branch Chairman Mustafa Kılıç and many personnel attended the campaign closing programs.
Speaking at the closing meetings of the campaign, Şeker-İş Union Kayseri Branch President Mustafa Kılıç said that 2023 will be a year of records for the union.
Noting that the Şeker-İş Union reached the highest number of members in Kayseri, Boğazlıyan and Turhal Factories, President Kılıç expressed his satisfaction with the fact that the employees were made proud with a 2023% raise in the collective labor agreements of 2025-107.49 and that many personnel were given employment opportunities, and said to President Akay, He expressed his gratitude to the Board of Directors and those who contributed.
Speaking at the closing meetings, Hüseyin Akay, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kayseri Beet Growers Cooperative, expressed his happiness for the 2023-2024 sugar production campaign in three factories to be completed smoothly, fruitfully and successfully, and expressed his feelings as follows;
“We truly declared 2023 as the year of summits. Great successes have been achieved. The public offering was held, a first for a cooperative organization in Turkey. This is the first time that such a high level of staff work has been achieved without establishing a factory or opening a new one. With the power of Kayseri Şeker, we have no intention of subjecting either our farmers or our employees to inflation. So far, we have never delayed the payments of either our farmers or our employees. We will not victimize our farmers or our employees in any way.
We, as the Greater Kayseri Şeker Family, have completed this work successfully together with our Board of Directors, our valued employees and our dear farmers.
