Reminding that Adana has recently come to the national agenda with its nature, history, gastronomy, climate, festivals, other beauties and warm-blooded people, Mayor Zeydan Karalar said that this was achieved together.
MASSIVE SERVICES AFTER THE FINANCIAL MIRACLE
Stating that they took over Adana Metropolitan Municipality under very bad conditions, Mayor Zeydan Karalar said, “The debt in Adana Metropolitan Municipality was 4 times the income, now the income is 4 times the debt. We built 3 underpasses, 5 new boulevards, and renewed 221 boulevards and streets. While 894 thousand tons of asphalt was poured in the previous period, when input prices, asphalt material and diesel were much cheaper, we poured 2 million 850 thousand tons of asphalt in the past period. We bought 310 work machines and 111 buses. We reduced the amount we pay for rent by 750-800 million lira annually. We increased the income of our municipality by 1 billion liras annually by ensuring that the taxes paid by our business people from Adana when importing are removed from our city. We aim to increase this figure even further. We carried out purification works, important infrastructure investments, roads and water services. We are replacing old water line pipes with much more durable ones, and we replaced 440 thousand meters of asbestos pipes. We laid the foundation of our project to bring water from Yedigöze. In the coming period, healthy and sufficient water will come to our 4 districts and their villages. As required by our understanding of social municipalism, we distributed 500 thousand food parcels to our people, along with millions of seedlings and other supports to farmers and producers. "Despite the pandemic and earthquake, we have provided very important services to our people in the past time."
VERY IMPORTANT PROJECTS WILL BE IMPLEMENTED IN THE NEXT PERIOD
In the coming period, 8 more underpasses will be built, the Metro 2nd Stage project, which President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan included in the investment program, will be built and the line will be extended to the New Courthouse, City Hospital, Balcalı and Stadium, and 2 tram lines will be connected to the city, one of which is a nostalgic line in the city center. Mayor Zeydan Karalar stated that giant services such as 4 new large libraries, new boulevards, a 150 megawatt Solar Power Plant (SPP), a modern bus terminal, a cultural center and a marina will be offered to the public if permission is obtained.

Addressing Adana's transportation problem, Bayram noted that there is a need for a rail system in the metro program announced by the government, starting from the Mental Health Hospital, Turgut Özal Boulevard, İller Bank, 15 July Martyrs Bridge, Adana City Hospital, Çukurova University and finally reaching the stadium. pulled.

Mayor Bayram also emphasized the importance of urbanization and proposed a 'model street' project for new residential areas around Kabasakal or Real.
