The ongoing Collective Labor Agreement between Nevşehir Municipality and Hizmet-İş Union resulted in great gains for the workers. With the contract, the salaries of the workers working within Nevşehir Municipality, Nevşehir Municipality Personnel Inc. and Nevşehir Municipality Tourism and Sports Inc. were increased by 70 percent, while their bonuses and social rights were also improved. Following the agreement, a collective agreement signing ceremony was held at Cappadocia Culture and Art Center.

Mehmet Savran, Deputy Mayors Nafiz Dirikoç, Ersin Erol and Furkan Feralan, Hizmet-İş Union Deputy Chairman Mehmet Keskin, Öz Güven-Sen Union Deputy Chairman Ümit Yalçın, Hizmet-İş Union Kayseri Branch President Serhat Çelik, HAK-İŞ Nevşehir Provincial Chairman Muhammet Fatih Mutlu, union workplace representatives and workers attended.
When President Savran came to Cappadocia Culture and Art Center for the signing ceremony, the workers welcomed Savran with enthusiasm. The workers welcomed Savran with drums and horns and showed love by chanting slogans.
Speaking at the ceremony, Hizmet-İş Union Kayseri Branch President Serhat Çelik said, “Our President did not leave any street or avenue untouched in Nevşehir. As all workers, we are proud to be our esteemed president's companion and to work with him day and night for 3,5 years.” said.
Mehmet Keskin, Deputy Chairman of the Hizmet-İş Union, said: “There is a really great crowd and enthusiasm. We have a mayor who deserves this. "I would like to thank our Mayor who gave us this atmosphere with his employees," he said.
Mayor Savran, who came to the podium accompanied by the applause and slogans of the enthusiastic crowd in the hall, thanked the workers for their work and support, embracing the institution they worked for during the more than 3 years he was in office, seeing it as their own business, and always prioritizing the successes of this city and this municipality.
For municipal workers, "Each of you is our face on the field, our pride." Savran said, “Without you, we could not serve this city. We know your value and always hold it high. We have never seen the miracle in ourselves. Miracle is in unity, solidarity, sincerity and working. I would like to thank all of you once again for your efforts over the past three years. If God allows and we continue on this path, I know that Nevşehir is in safe hands. I trust you, you trust me and Nevşehir trusts us. This trust will elevate Nevşehir and bring Nevşehir to the place it deserves. "No one should doubt this." he said.
