We are together to consult. There were a number of developments during this period. One of the most pleasing developments for AFAD for us is that it was decided to establish an AFAD Union Directorate in Kayseri, with the work of our Metropolitan Municipality, our MPs, us and the AFAD Directorate. It is very important that this union is in Kayseri. This unit consists of experienced rescuers who will respond to specific disasters. At the same time, the second good news for us is that our AFAD Logistics Building is being built. He will start too. It is also one of the important steps for Kayseri. A lot of work has been done both as an institution and in this process. “As far as I know, we are in good places in terms of rights ownership in cooperation with Çevre-AFAD.”

Çiçek also stated that the Disaster Affairs Department established within Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality will cooperate with them much more.

Metropolitan Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç underlined that this study is meaningful and important and said, “I hope that such a study, which we believe is important and meaningful, will yield beneficial results. "We are aware that every institution must do its part in the context of the studies and evaluations we have made during that process and the measures we need to take afterwards," he said.

Reminding that they have created a separate area for possible disasters, Mayor Büyükkılıç said, "As Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality and the relevant district municipalities, in addition to the previous work we have done in this field, we also took the works that need to be done in the last period into our agenda and created a separate area, especially the Disaster Affairs Department, "We attach importance to cooperation on what should be done in this regard and to do our part in solidarity with institutions and organizations," he said.
