Selçuklu Municipality continues to bring new facilities to Konya in the field of health. In this context, construction works continue uninterruptedly at the Community Mental Health Center and Healthy Life Center, which will be brought to Yazır District in cooperation with Konya Provincial Health Directorate and Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.
Selçuklu Mayor Ahmet Pekyatırcı examined the ongoing works in the construction area of the facility and received information from the authorities about the latest situation in the works. Mayor Pekyatırcı stated that they were happy to implement another qualified project in the field of health.
Stating that they are happy to realize another valuable health investment for Selçuklu, Selçuklu Mayor Ahmet Pekyatırcı said; “In Selçuklu, we continue to produce projects for whichever region of our district there is a need for our citizens' access to health services. In this context, we signed a protocol with Konya Provincial Health Directorate and our Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, in cooperation between our institutions. Following the protocol, we quickly started our work to bring a Community Mental Health Center and Healthy Life Center to Yazır Neighborhood, and its construction continues rapidly. Hopefully, our Seljuk community will have new facilities that people from all walks of life can benefit from and receive health services. "I hope that this valuable investment, which we plan to lay the foundations of soon, will be beneficial to our city and district, and I wish my teammates ease in their work," he said.
THE CENTER WILL HAVE MANY FUNCTIONAL EQUIPMENT
The Community Mental Health Center and Healthy Life Center will consist of a total area of 4699 square meters. There will be 1 Gym, 4 Observation and Treatment Rooms, 1 Psychologist Room, 1 Team Room, 1 Social Meeting Room, 1 Library, 9 Workshops, 1 Multi-Purpose Hall, 1 Doctor's Room within the Community Mental Health Center. In the Healthy Life Center, there is 1 Multi-Purpose Hall, 1 X-ray Room, 1 Blood Collection Room, 1 Mammography Room, 1 Laboratory, 2 Reproductive Health and Examination Rooms, 1 KETEM Room, 1 Reproductive and KETEM Consultation Room, 1 USG, 1 Pregnancy Class, 1 Emergency Response Room, 1 Physical Activity Coach, 2 Smoking Cessation Rooms, 3 Physical Activity Areas - Physiotherapist, 1 Pedagogue, 2 Dietitians, 1 Oral and Dental Health It will serve citizens with 1 Ergotherapist, 2 Psychologists, 2 Social Service Rooms, 2 Child Development Rooms and 1 Patient Education Room.
