The wounds of the great earthquake that occurred in 11 provinces centered in Kahramanmaraş last year continue to be healed. Izmit Municipality teams, which went to the region from the first day of the earthquake, constantly supported the earthquake victims. The earthquake region thanked the Izmit Municipality teams for supporting the earthquake victims with the slogan 'We Understand You Best'.
“WE HAVE NOT FORGOT YOU, WE WILL NOT FORGET YOU”
The following expressions were used in the message sent to the municipality by Emir Yaşar, an earthquake victim living in Pazarcık, who did not forget the help of Izmit Municipality teams even though a year has passed since the earthquake: “First of all, hello, how are you? We cannot thank you enough for your efforts and for thinking of us after the disasters that befell us last year. We have not forgotten you, we will not forget you. May you be forgiven for your efforts.”
