Muğla Metropolitan Municipality has recycled 2018 thousand tons of construction waste since 385 with the mobile crusher construction site established in Menteşe and Bodrum districts.
By using recycled materials in 88 kilometers of road work, the Metropolitan Municipality saved 38 Million 800 Thousand TL and protected both the environment and its budget.
Muğla Metropolitan Municipality continues its environmentally friendly investments, recycling projects and saving practices. In this context, the Metropolitan Municipality has eliminated approximately 2018 thousand tons of excavation soil and construction waste since 385 at the mobile crusher construction site it established. The Metropolitan Municipality, together with 2 crushers, turned the excavation materials found in the excavations carried out throughout the province into filling and asphalt materials. This material produced was also used by the Metropolitan Municipality in the road works under construction throughout the province. While the metropolitan teams have saved 38 Million 800 Thousand TL so far with the asphalt materials produced thanks to recycling, they have carried out 88 km of road work with the materials produced.
