SymphonHy is part of a €1 billion project called HyMotive, supported by the French government and the European Union. The project is expected to create employment for 1.000 people.

SymphonHy empowers Symbio to support its customers with their deployment plans, with the goal of driving high-performance transportation powered by hydrogen fuel cells while making zero-emission hydrogen mobility affordable for them.

The group offers a broad portfolio of solutions for efficient zero-emission mobility that meets all power, autonomy and durability requirements. Supported hydrogen mobility includes light and medium-duty commercial vehicles, pickups, trucks, buses and coaches on the road, as well as off-road lifting and mechanical transport equipment.

“SymphonHy is testament to Europe's industrial and technological leadership,” Symbio CEO Philippe Rosier said in a recent press release announcing the opening. “Together with the entire ecosystem and our private and public partners, we are ready to scale up and make hydrogen electric mobility a sustainable, high-performance and affordable reality.”

Rosier added: “SymphonHy is a testament to Symbio's ability to deliver on its industrial commitments and supports accelerating the deployment of zero-emission hydrogen mobility.

According to the CEO, the first 100% fuel cell system was produced at SymphonHy in October, just a month after the hydrogen fuel cells gigafactory went into operation.
