Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç announced that the 5th stage of the rail system, which increases the transportation comfort of the city, will provide direct transportation between Talas Mevlana District and Cumhuriyet Square, and boarding trips from the newly opened stations are free for 4 days.
While the Talas Mevlana District-Cumhuriyet Square line started to operate with the Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Mehmet Özheseki sitting in the driver's seat and making the first drive, Metropolitan Mayor Dr. Good news came to that region from Memduh Büyükkılıç.
Mayor Büyükkılıç announced that citizens who will use the new T4 line will use tram services free of charge for 28 days, starting from Saturday, October 4.

In his statement on the subject, Büyükkılıç said, “We continue our work with the aim of taking Kayseri, which is among the exemplary provinces with its roads and transportation network, to better points in the field of transportation, as in every field. There is little we can do for our fellow citizens from Kayseri who love and trust us. Congratulations on the Talas Mevlana District-Cumhuriyet Square line, which is the 5th stage of our rail system that increases the transportation comfort of the city. This line will provide comfortable and safe transportation service to Mevlana District of Talas district, with a population of approximately 85 thousand. Boarding our new T4 line from newly opened stations will be free for 4 days. "I wish good luck to our city and our country," he said.
Mayor Büyükkılıç said that the new line will also be served by new yellow-red trams with ergonomic, comfortable and disabled-friendly designs, three-stage superior comfortable seats, and Erciyes motifs on the seat upholstery, as well as engines and movement parts that will enable the use of environmentally friendly energy.
Büyükkılıç thanked all ministers, deputies and everyone who contributed, especially President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
