Pera Museum will host the Pera Quartet's “A Summer Evening” concert on 10 June. On June 11, soloists Atakan Akdaş, Neval Güleç and young soloist Yaşar Cankut Erşen will meet with music lovers at the Turkish Music Concert with the theme of “Love Songs”.

Summer repertoire from Pera Quartet

The Pera Classics series of the Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation Pera Museum continues in June with a concert themed "A Summer Evening". The Pera Quartet flute quartet, which came together specially for this concert, will meet with music lovers on Saturday, June 10 at 19.30.

The ensemble, consisting of Didem Karakaya (Flute), Doğu Kaptaner (Violin), Nora Heder (Viola) and Sedef Erçetin Atala (Cello), performed at the concert with J. Pachelbel, JS Bach, WA Mozart, F. Schubert, G. Bizet and F. He will be performing Devienne's works.

The “A Summer Evening” concert, which will be held in the hall where the Intersecting Worlds: Ambassadors and Painters exhibition brings together a selection from the Pera Museum Orientalist Painting Collection, will take the listeners on a colorful musical journey in the historical and magical atmosphere of the museum.

“Love Songs” from Turkish Music

prof. Dr. Respecting the cherished memory of Alaeddin Yavaşca, Pera Museum Turkish Music Concerts organized under the coordination of Sinan Sipahi welcomes the summer with the theme of “Love Songs”.

Hosted by Osman Nuri Özpekel, this month's guest soloists will be Atakan Akdaş, Neval Güleç and guest young soloist Yaşar Cankut Erşen.

Osman Nuri Özpekel (Oud), Aziz Şükrü Özoğuz (Violin), Taner Sayacıoğlu (Kanun), Lütfiye Özer (Kemençe), Gamze Ege Yıldız (Tanbur) and Volkan Ertem (Cello) are among the instrumentalists of the program where selected works by great composers will be performed.

The “Love Songs” concert will meet with the audience on Sunday, June 11 at 16.30 at the Pera Museum Auditorium.

Pera Classics and Pera Music Turkish Music Concerts, which will take a short break after the June program, will continue to meet music lovers with new themes and guest artists as of September.
