CRRCMNG Rail System Vehicles San. ve Tic. Ltd. Ltd. Şti. organized an event called “Istanbul Airport Metro Vehicles Project Domestic Supply Chain Promotion Ceremony” on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at the Ankara Hilton Hotel.
Many guests from public and private organizations attended the event.
The opening speech was made by CRRC ZELC Deputy General Manager XiongRUIHUA, and CRRCMNG General Manager Li YANGYANG, ASO President Seyit ARDIC, CRRC Group Vice President An WANG and AYGM General Manager Dr. Yalçın EYİGÜN gave their speeches.
Osman Gökmen, General Manager of the OSMANLI company, representing the Domestic Suppliers at the event, gave a speech in which he shared how they became a Rail System supplier with the support of CRRCMNG and shared his experiences about the development processes with the participants of the event.
Within the scope of the event, the contract for the Battery Product group to be localized for the first time in Turkey within the scope of the Istanbul Airport Metro Vehicles Project, which has the title of the fastest metro in Turkey, was signed by CRRCMNG Deputy General Manager Yıldırım ÇİTLİ and ASPİLSAN Chairman of the Board Assoc. It was signed by Ahmet Turan ÖZDEMİR.
In addition, within the scope of localization, the contract for all composite part groups (Front Mask, bumper, Inner Side Walls, Door Post Closures and Passenger Seats) to be used in the interior and exterior of Istanbul Airport Metro Vehicles was signed by CRRCMNG Deputy General Manager Zhang WENFENG and ONUR FIBER General Manager Cem URANS. signed.
CRRC MNG has shown that it will continue to contribute to Turkey's Rail System Vehicles ecology and strengthen its supply chain by making more than 20 localization contracts within the scope of the project.
Within the scope of the presentation ceremony, localization activities were started by providing live connection to CRRCMNG, ONUR FIBER and OTTOMAN factories.
The ceremony was completed after the lunch with the participation of the guests.
