Participating in the 2023th International Caspian Oil and Gas Fair, held within the scope of Baku Energy Week - 28, SOCAR Turkey informed the high-level government officials and visitors attending the fair about the activities it carried out during the 15 years it spent in Turkey.

SOCAR Turkey, Turkey's largest integrated industrial conglomerate and largest foreign direct investor, provides information on the investments it has made since 2008, when it started operating in Turkey at the International Caspian Oil & Gas Exhibition. shared. The biggest energy fair of the region, which is the main sponsor of the Azerbaijan Republic State Oil Company (SOCAR) and opened its doors for the 28th time, will be held at Baku Expo Center between May 31 and June 2, 2023.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, who attended the opening day of the fair, also visited SOCAR Turkey's stand area and received information about its successful 15-year activities in Turkey.

Entering the Turkish market in 2008 with the acquisition of 51% of Petkim's shares, SOCAR has made an investment of 15 billion dollars in the past 18.2 years. Owning important group companies such as STAR Refinery, SOCAR Storage, SOCAR Terminal, Bursagaz, Kayserigaz in the petrochemical, refinery and natural gas fields in Turkey, SOCAR is also the most important link of the Southern Gas Corridor, transporting natural gas to Europe via Turkey. It is also the big partner of TANAP.
