In the soap workshop of the Hamam Museum of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, the intricacies of soap making are taught to children.

Soap making, which has an important place among the traditional professions of Gaziantep, is carried to the future with the educational activities organized by the Metropolitan Municipality. In this context, in the Hamam Museum, children between the ages of 7 and 14 both learn the materials used in the soap making process and design their own soaps thanks to the knowledge and experience they have gained.

In order to preserve the history, culture and traditions of the Gazi city and to carry it to future generations, claydans, which are used in the past and forgotten, also aim to keep a place in the memory of children by using them in soap making.

Visitors who want to attend the event, which will be held on Wednesdays and Thursdays until the last week of June, can get detailed information by calling 0 507 449 30 03.

Aiming to enable the museum to interact with people with innovative touches and carrying out the "Living Museums" project, the Metropolitan will continue its innovative touches, especially for children, in other museums.
