STM assumed the platform integration responsibility of the Advent-Müren Combat Management System, which will be integrated into Gür Class Submarines. On the other hand, in the Half-Life Modernization Project of 4 Preveze Class Submarines in the inventory of the Turkish Navy, the acceptance activities of some critical systems under the STM procurement responsibility of TCG PREVEZE were successfully completed.
STM continues its efforts to equip the Turkish Naval Forces Command with national systems. STM is the backbone of the Submarine Fleet Command in the Blue Vatan; It made two important developments in Preveze and Gür Class submarines.
Another important milestone has been left behind in the Preveze Class Submarine Half-Life Modernization (PREVEZE-YÖM), initiated by the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey Defense Industry Presidency (SSB). In the PREVEZE-YÖM Project, which includes the modernization of 4 Preveze Class Submarines, STM will test the sea acceptance experiences of the TCG Preveze (S-353) Inertial Navigation System, CTD Probes, Chilled Water System and Static Inverters, which should be delivered during the design phases of the submarine in 2022. After completing it successfully, it also completed the acceptance activities of these systems.
Critical Missions to STM in Preveza
Preveze Class Submarine Half-Life Modernization Project; It covers the modernization of TCG Preveze (S-353), TCG Sakarya (S-354), TCG 18 Mart (S-355) and TCG Anafartalar (S-356) submarines, which are in the inventory of the Naval Forces Command. In the project where STM is the pilot partner and the contract was signed on 8 February 2019; The procurement activities of 9 systems and the platform integration responsibility of all the systems procured within the scope of the Project are carried out by STM.
STM Will Integrate National Combat Management System Platform in Gür Class Submarines
With the contract signed between TÜBİTAK Bilgem and STM on February 28, 2023, platform integration responsibility was given to STM in the Advent-Müren Combat Management System Integration Project for Gür Class Submarines. Signatures were signed between TÜBİTAK Bilgem and the Naval Forces Command on 5 December 2022 for the Advent Müren Combat Management System and AKYA Integration Project for Gür Class Submarines.
Preveze and Ay class submarines, which have the MUREN Combat Management System (SYS) family, were equipped with the national torpedo AKYA firing capability. With the contract signed between TÜBİTAK Bilgem and the Naval Forces Command, the aforementioned capability will be brought to the Gür Class submarines, and the war management system, which is the brain of the submarines, will be modernized with national means.

STM General Manager Özgür GÜLERYÜZ stated that STM has achieved many firsts in Turkey in the fields of submarine design, construction and modernization, and said:
