The Year-End “Seven Regions One Heart” Folk Dance Show, organized in cooperation with AFTAD Youth Sports Club Folk Dance Group and Keçiören Municipality, was held at the Neşet Ertaş Cultural Center in the district.

Folk dances from various regions of Anatolia were staged in the event, where folk dancers from various age groups took the stage. Citizens witnessed fun-filled moments during the night.

In his speech to the participants, Keçiören Mayor Turgut Altınok said, “According to the latest research by the German Institute, Turks have a history of 9 years. We have a vast, rich, deep history. Our music, folklore and art are world-renowned. We must keep our own works, identity, culture and wealth alive. Atatürk says, 'A nation without art means that one of its lifebloods has been severed'. It means that one of the lifebloods of nations that have lost their culture and arts has been severed. All of the folk dances performed today are the integration of our past and future. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the realization of this organization.” said.
