Acer introduced the Acer Connect Vero W6m, the first eco-friendly Wi-Fi 6E router that uses post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials in its chassis and includes Eco mode for efficient energy consumption. Acer Connect Vero W30m, which uses 6 percent PCR plastic in its chassis, can reach a maximum speed of up to 7800 Gbps thanks to its tri-band AXE7,8 feature, and combines high performance and energy efficiency with its special Eco mode. Powered by a quad-core 2GHz processor, the router packs a host of premium connectivity, coverage and security features, including Wi-Fi 6E Tri-Band AXE7800[1,2].

Acer Inc. Wayne Ma, General Manager of IoB, said, “We are very excited to launch our Acer Connect Vero W6m router with Wi-Fi 6E Mesh support and expand our portfolio of network devices. Fast and smooth Wi-Fi 6E connection

Acer's first eco-friendly router, Acer Connect Vero W6m supports Wi-Fi 6E connectivity and complies with the safety standards set by the Radio Equipment Directive of the European Commission. Supporting Wi-Fi 6E Triband (2,4 GHz/5 GHz/6 GHz) AXE7800 transfer rates, the device offers fast and stable internet connection up to 7,8 Gbps when online. The Wi-Fi 6E router can also be paired with up to 4 units, helping to eliminate dead spots, providing wider coverage. The device offers exceptional network coverage of up to 465 square meters in a dual mesh system and up to 930 square meters in a quad mesh system [1,3]. Powered by MediaTek quad-core 2 GHz A53 processor, 1 GB LPDDR RAM and 4 GB memory capacity, Acer Connect Vero W6m has been specially designed to meet high bandwidth requirements.

Attaching great importance to data protection and security, the Wi-Fi 6E router is the first router to pass the EU EN 303 645 (RED) Cyber Security Standards. The addition of the Vero Connect W6m router to Acer's portfolio of performance-focused routers such as the Predator Connect W6 and Predator Connect W6d demonstrates the company's commitment to providing innovative connectivity devices that deliver quality and secure network connections for all users.

Environmentally friendly both inside and out

Designed with the environment in mind, the device reflects Acer's commitment to reducing CO2 emissions in every aspect, from its chassis to its energy-efficient features. In addition, 100 percent recyclable paper is used in its packaging.

With a minimalist and compact design, the Acer Connect Vero W6m's chassis contains 30 percent PCR and with its cobblestone gray color it fits easily into any office or home setup. The exclusive Eco-mode function optimizes the router's power consumption along with other connected devices by managing sleep times when not in use and efficiently regulating the data frequency distribution.
