After the works of Ordu Metropolitan Municipality, voyages to Ünye Port, which has become one of the most important ports of the Black Sea, continue. In this context, the container ship carrying 184 tons of food aid materials sent from the Russian city of Sochi to Turkey anchored at the Unye Port.

Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Unye Port, which was enlarged by increasing the number and depth of berths and making it suitable for the entrance of high-tonnage ships with the initiatives of Mehmet Hilmi Güler, became the address of the aid materials sent from abroad after the Kahramanmaraş earthquakes that occurred on February 6 and were described as the 'disaster of the century'. The ship named Evrim Group, carrying 184 tons of food materials, set off from the Russian city of Sochi, arrived at Ünye Port.

184 TONS OF FOOD SHIPPED TO THE EARTHQUAKE ZONE

The container ship, which set off from the Russian city of Sochi and brought half materials to the earthquake zones, unloaded its cargo at the Unye Port. The products were sent to the earthquake zone by loading the trucks until late at night on the container ship containing 184 tons of foodstuffs.

43 packages of pasta, 974 tons of 22 kilos of sugar, 500 tons of 63 kilograms of flour, 500 pieces of oil, 19 pieces of 700-liter water, 5 packages of canned fish, 808 packages of milk, on the aid ship that came from the Russian city of Sochi, 5 packages of toilet paper, 60 kilograms of biscuits, 945 packages of tea, 200 kilograms of sugar products, 260 kilograms of buckwheat, 300 kilograms of beans, 72 kilograms of salt, 725 kilograms of sugar and 536 kilograms of oil were loaded onto 250 trucks and sent to earthquake zones under the control of AFAD.
