Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) started to distribute liquid fertilizer to the disaster-stricken farmers in Kahramanmaraş. 5 truckloads of 400 thousand liters of organomineral liquid fertilizer, which BelPlas AŞ, one of the affiliates of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB), set out before the holiday, reached the disaster area.
Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş, who announced that liquid fertilizers have reached the region and distributed, through his social media accounts, said, “We continue our rural development support in the earthquake region without slowing down. Following the corn silage and feed support, we delivered 400 thousand liters of liquid fertilizer to Kahramanmaraş. We will not stop to ensure that all our farmers receive support on equal terms and that the region can stand up again.”
Belplas A.Ş., in order to support the farmers engaged in crop production, contribute to the cost of agricultural inputs, improve soils and increase productivity in crop production. 400 thousand liters of liquid fertilizer produced by Kahramanmaraş started to meet with the domestic producer.
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality had previously provided corn silage and feed support to earthquake-affected farmers and animal breeders.
