Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş opened the Çubuk E-Sports and Çubuk Family Life Centers. “There will be activities in the branches of education, culture, art and sports at the Rod Family Life Center. This project, which will enable young and old people to have a good time, learn and participate in cultural life in our 6-storey center Çubuk, which we have built on an area of 242 thousand 7 square meters, will add value to our district. Today, we are also opening the Çubuk E-sports Center, where our young people can improve themselves and have a good time. Our 1000-storey center, built on an area of 3 square meters, includes sections such as a tournament hall, game room, boot camp and virtual reality room. Here, we aim to contribute to the socialization of our young people, to gain team spirit and to establish professional e-sports teams. We have completed our Çubuk Family Life Center and our e-sports center with a total cost of 75 million liras and offered them to our citizens.”
TWO GOOD NEWS FROM SLOW TO ÇUBUK
Mansur Yavaş gave two good news to the Çubuklu people in his speech. Noting that there are many cherries in Çubuk, Yavaş said, “We will make the tender for the cold storage in May. Projects completed. It will contribute to the regional economy,” he said, adding that they are working to sell the cherry as frozen food.
Noting that they wrote a petition to the Ministry of Transport in January for the Airport Metro to be built by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, Yavaş said, “If the Ministry of Transport transfers the metro, we promise to do it in a way that includes Çubuk, hopefully. We are giving the good news of this," he said.
THE FIRST E-SPORTS CENTER OF THE CAPITAL IS AT ÇUBUK
In Çubuk E-Sports Center, which is the first e-sports center of the capital and established on an area of 1000 square meters; There are tournament hall, game room, game console room, virtual reality area and 4 boot-camps prepared for e-sports training. All kinds of equipment can be used free of charge at the center, which is planned to gather e-sports enthusiasts under one roof and works by appointment.
Located in Çubuk Atatürk District, Çubuk AYM includes Women's Club, Youth Center, library, sports center, BELMEK, game hall and conference hall. The 6-storey Çubuk AYM, built on an area of 242 thousand 7 square meters, will provide free service to members between the ages of 14-28.
