The Mechanical Storey Car Park, built by Samsun Metropolitan Municipality in Havza district, is counting the days for its opening. With the facility to be put into service after the completion of the vehicle test phase, it is aimed to solve the parking problem in the district to a large extent. Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir said that putting the Mechanical Multi-Storey Car Park into service would be a permanent solution to the parking problem in the district.
Samsun Metropolitan Municipality continues to find permanent solutions to the traffic problem throughout the city. In this context, parking lot projects prepared in the city center and districts are being implemented one by one. A 5-storey mechanical multi-storey car park with a capacity of 340 vehicles was built by the Metropolitan Municipality in Havza district. The car park, which will be put into service after the completion of the vehicle test stages, will work with the domestic mechanical system. In the parking lot, not the drivers, the mechanical system with the elevator will park the cars. The vehicles will be taken from the parking area and delivered to their owners with the same system. With the commissioning of the project, a permanent solution to the parking problem in the district will be found.
IT WILL BE OPEN AFTER THE TEST PHASE
Stating that the countdown has begun for Havza Mechanical Multi-Storey Car Park, Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir stated that they have carried out many projects to ease the city traffic, and that the parking lot projects will also make a great contribution to this. Stating that this project will bring a permanent solution to the parking problem in Havza, Mayor Demir said, “Hopefully, our mechanical multi-storey car park will be put into service of our citizens soon. This region in our Havza district is a place with heavy traffic flow. Our car park, which will have a capacity of 340 vehicles, will reduce this congestion and give you a sigh of relief. As the Metropolitan Municipality, we will continue to carry out different projects in all areas, not only in the city center, but in all our districts.”
WHAT DO CITIZENS SAY?
Citizens are eagerly awaiting the opening of the Mechanical Floor Parking Lot. Hakan Güvenç, one of the residents of the district, said, “I think that the commissioning of the project will be very good for our district. Nice service. We had a problem with parking. This problem is exacerbated as the population increases. I think this parking lot project will provide relief,” he said.
Nuri Demirkol, on the other hand, stated that there is a serious problem regarding parking in Havza and said, “Traffic is very congested, and there are car parks everywhere. The 5-storey car park provides serious relief. We look forward to it being put into service with excitement," he said.
İhsan Yeşilyurt said, “Everyone has parked their car according to their own mind. The roads are jammed. Parking lot project would be very useful. An order comes. The city breathes. We look forward to its opening," he said.
Expressing that they are anxiously waiting for the parking lot to be opened, Ercan Satmış said, “We thank the Metropolitan Municipality for this parking lot project. I believe it will be very beneficial for our district,” he said.
