At least 32 people died and 85 were injured in the accident that occurred as a result of the collision of two trains in Greece.

According to the news of the Greek State Agency AMNA, a passenger train and a freight train collided in the Tempi region, north of the city of Larisa. 32 people died and 85 people were injured in the accident where some wagons of the passenger train derailed. After the accident, the passengers on the train were taken to Thessaloniki, Larisa and Katerini by buses.

There were about 62 passengers on the IC 350 train, which was going from Athens to Thessaloniki. Search and rescue efforts continue at the crash site.

In the statement made by the ministry, it was stated with sadness that it was learned that many people lost their lives and were injured in the train accident that occurred last night in Greece.
