In Samsun, the public transportation vehicles in the city center were increased by 20 percent, and a kilometer-based price regulation was introduced for the minibuses and buses that make transportation between the districts.
According to the decision taken at UKOME, with the new price tariff, the city dolmus lines became 7,5 TL for students and 9,5 TL for full. 1, 2, 3 and 4 Dolmus Lines price tariff was 7,5 TL for students and 9,5 TL for full. The price schedule of the minibuses and buses between the districts was renewed in proportion to the distance of the districts to the center.
Km-based fare arrangement was made for the minibuses between the districts. A 20 percent hike was applied to the price tariff for buses and trams. The lowest station (between 1 and 12 stations) journey cost of the rail system was 6,25 TL and the student was 4,15 TL. Bus fares increased from 7 TL to 8,5 TL per person, and from 3,5 TL to 4,25 TL for students.
At the UKOME meeting, it was also decided not to increase student shuttles, taxis and rings.
