After the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, 2023, the national education family declared a production and aid mobilization. Special students studying at special education vocational schools also contributed greatly to the work done to heal the wounds.

All of the special education vocational schools in the provinces that were not affected by the earthquake became one heart to heal the wounds by participating in the campaigns launched in eleven provincial centers. Teachers and students in vocational workshops are trying to help the citizens affected by the earthquake as much as they can. In addition, undamaged special education vocational schools in eleven provinces affected by the earthquake have been hosting citizens since the first day of the disaster.

Within the scope of solidarity, Erzurum Palandöken Special Education Vocational School students and teachers sent the bread, soup and blankets they produced to the earthquake zone.

Istanbul Silivri Abdullah Bilgingüllüoğlu Special Education Vocational School students; continues to produce tents, tent irons, scarves and berets in vocational workshops. The manufactured products are sent to Kahramanmaraş.

Tekirdag Çerkezköy Martyr Muharrem Yanal Special Education Vocational School and Çorlu Special Education Vocational School teachers and students prepare products such as berets, scarves, pajamas and tracksuits and send them to Malatya.

In Edirne Faika Erkurt Special Education Vocational School, besides winter clothes such as scarves and berets, wooden toys are prepared for earthquake victims and sent to the region.

İzmir Konak Special Education Vocational School is involved in solidarity by producing baby quilts, duvet cover sets and shawls.

Karabağlar Sadettin Tezcan Special Education Vocational School and Kadıköy Şöhret Kurşunoğlu Special Education Vocational School students produce wooden and plush toys and ceramic puppets and deliver them to psychosocial support teams.

Bursa Mustafakemalpaşa İbni Sina Special Education Vocational School; manufactures socks, scarves and food bowls. The container they bought with the income obtained from the aid campaign initiated by the school teachers and administrators within the scope of social responsibility was sent to Kahramanmaraş along with the materials.

Trabzon Arsin Yeşilce Special Education Vocational School students sent the table greens they grew in the agricultural field greenhouse to their visiting student brothers and families who came to Trabzon from the earthquake zone. Ortahisar Karadeniz Special Education Vocational School also produced pastries, pastries, cakes and cookies and winter clothes and delivered them to Malatya.
