Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay made examinations in Konya Mobile Eye and Mobile Dental Vehicles, which serve in the earthquake zone for Hatay residents. President Altay said, “Our mobile vehicles, which we have implemented with the contribution of our Konya non-governmental organizations, meet an important need in the earthquake region. We will overcome the wounds of the catastrophe of the century, together with the cooperation of the state and the nation, by Allah's leave," he said.
Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Uğur İbrahim Altay visited the mobile vehicles they prepared together with non-governmental organizations in Konya.
Expressing that they, as Konya, made a great effort to resurrect the sister city of Hatay, which was devastated by the 6 February earthquakes, Mayor Altay said that the mobile glasses and mobile dental tools they brought to life with the contribution of Konya non-governmental organizations met an important need in the earthquake region.
Noting that they are trying to give morale to the earthquake victims by examining the mobile vehicles in the earthquake region, Mayor Altay said, “Our Oral and Dental Health Diagnosis and Treatment Vehicle, which we have implemented with the Konya Chamber of Dentists, and our Mobile Glasses Vehicle, which we have prepared together with the Konya Chamber of Opticians and Opticians, continue their services for our earthquake victims. I mediate the thanks and prayers of our citizens who benefit from our health services in Hatay for the people of Konya. Here, our brothers send their greetings to Konya and the people of Konya. We will overcome the wounds of the catastrophe of the century, together with the state-nation solidarity, with God's permission.
Earthquake survivors, who received health care from mobile dental and eyewear tools, also thanked Konya Metropolitan Municipality for their support.
Oral and Dental Health Diagnosis and Treatment Tool has provided dental examination and treatment to 1.357 citizens, and the mobile glasses tool has provided eye examinations to 1.131 people since the day it started to serve in the earthquake zone in Hatay.
