Some technical requirements for veterinary clinics and clinics damaged by earthquakes will not be sought until February 6, 2024.

The Regulation Amending the Regulation on Veterinary Medicine Practice and Polyclinic, prepared by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, was published in the Official Gazette.

The regulation covers the minimum technical, hygiene and health conditions required by the practice and polyclinics opened or to be opened by veterinarians, as well as the procedures and principles regarding the opening, working and inspection of these places.

A temporary article was added to the regulation regarding veterinary clinics and outpatient clinics in places declared disaster areas due to earthquakes.

Accordingly, certain minimum and technical conditions will not be sought until February 6, 6 in licensed veterinary clinics or polyclinics that were damaged in places declared disaster areas due to the earthquakes that occurred on February 2024th.

In this context, the number and size criteria of physician, examination and equipment rooms determined for practice and polyclinic departments will not be required.

The regulation came into effect from 6 February.
