President Erdoğan approved the urgent expropriation decision of thousands of parcels of land in Bursa, Balıkesir and Bilecik for the Bandırma-Bursa-Yenişehir-Osmaneli High Standard Railway project.
The Presidential Decree, signed by Erdoğan, is as follows:
“In order to complete the Bandırma-Bursa-Yenişehir-Osmaneli High Standard Railway Project in accordance with the determined work schedule and the promised deadlines and to avoid any disruption in the procurement of foreign loans, the location and island/parcel numbers are shown on the list with the attached map, which is needed within the scope of the project. It was decided that the immovables and possessions be expropriated urgently by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure (General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments) pursuant to Article 2492 of the Expropriation Law No. 27.”
Expropriation will be made in these districts
In this context, the places determined in Bursa's Nilüfer, Mudanya, Karacabey, Gürsu, Yenişehir, Osmangazi, Bilecik's Osmaneli and Balıkesir's Bandırma districts will be expropriated.
