James Cameron's highly anticipated Avatar sequel, Avatar: The Way of Water, was released on December 16, 2022 and was a huge success. The film grossed over $2 billion at the box office in January and is now the third highest-grossing film of all time worldwide, immediately after the original film and Avengers: Endgame.
Jake Sully is back in the new movie and now lives in Pandora with his new found family. But when an ancient threat shows its ugly face, Jake must help the Na'vi defend their home. In addition to Sam Worthington reprising the role of Jake, the film also stars Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis and Joel David Moore.
