As of yesterday, the total number of China-Europe freight train services passing through the Alatav border gate in China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region increased to 30 thousand and a container transport volume of 1 million 350 thousand TEUs was reached.
The Alatav border gate is considered an important gateway for China-Europe freight train services. These freight train services account for more than 30 percent of the total number of freight train services in the country.
Existing China-Europe freight train services can reach 19 countries, including Russia, Poland and Belgium.
