Keçiören Municipality carried out a detailed cleaning work in nearly 300 mosques in the district before the month of Ramadan. Within the scope of the work initiated to enable the citizens to worship in a cleaner environment, work was carried out inside and outside the mosque. While the gardens of the mosques were washed with pressurized water, the carpets in the interior were swept and rose water was sprayed.
Keçiören Mayor Turgut Altınok, who said that there was a lot of intensity during Ramadan, especially during tarawih prayer hours, and that they carried out disinfection work in this context, said, "We have cleaned the interior and environment of our mosques with detailed cleaning works specific to the month of Ramadan. We also carry out disinfection work in each of our mosques. In our mosques where we spray rose water, our citizens will be able to perform their prayers with peace of mind.
