After the earthquakes, the epicenter of which was Kahramanmaraş, Pazarcık and Elbistan and affecting 10 provinces in total, the Turkish Armed Forces' intensive contribution to search and rescue, life support and health activities continues.

While responding to the demands received by the Disaster Emergency Crisis Desk established within the Ministry of National Defense after the earthquake, air and sea "help corridors" were created to deliver search and rescue teams to the region.

However, the Turkish Armed Forces mobilized to help earthquake victims. In the regions affected by the earthquake, hot meals, food and bread were distributed to the citizens.

In addition, the field kitchens sent to the regions started their activities. In addition to these, mobile toilets and mobile bathrooms were also transferred to the earthquake-affected areas.

The Turkish Armed Forces established logistic support bases to quickly deliver aid to earthquake victims. Aids sent to the region at 8 logistics bases established in 19 provinces are classified. Afterwards, aid is rapidly dispatched to the needed areas by military vehicles under the coordination of AFAD.
