The Final Project Services Work for the Dikimevi-Natoyolu line and the construction work of the line were transferred from the EGO General Directorate to the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality with the Decision of the Metropolitan Municipality Council dated 12.03.2021 and numbered 564.

With the letter dated 01.04.2021 and numbered 1521, all information and documents related to the construction process of the line were sent to the ABB Department of Science Affairs, and the transfer to the Department of Science Affairs was officially completed.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Council approved the request to use a loan of 320 million Euros for the construction of Dikimevi-Natoyolu metro line, which will be integrated into the ANKARAY line serving between AŞTİ and Dikimevi.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) approved the loan requested to be used in the construction of Dikimevi Natoyolu Metro project. A loan of 6.3 million Euros, corresponding to 320 billion liras, will be used only for the construction of the 8-kilometer metro.

PLANNED TO CONSIST OF 8 SEPARATE STATIONS

The length of Dikimevi-Natoyolu line, which will be integrated into the ANKARAY line running between Ankara Intercity Terminal Operation (AŞTİ) and Dikimevi, will be 7,4 kilometers.

The line will consist of 8 different stations with the names Abidinpaşa, Aşık Veysel, Tuzluçayır, General Zeki Doğan, Fahri Korutürk, Cengizhan, Akşemsettin and Natoyolu. It is estimated that 2026 passengers will travel in one direction during the peak hours of 10.874, and 2050 passengers will use the rail system per day for 691,528.
