The 35th Beijing Book Fair took place from February 24 to 26. Fair organizers announced that the number of visitors reached a record level this year, exceeding the 100 mark.
Organization officials said that more than 700 publishing houses participated in the fair and exhibited approximately 400 books on traditional culture and environmental protection.
Within the framework of the fair, more than 300 cultural events were organized based on the publishing industry chain. One was a seminar on the development of publishing in China, and the other was a forum focused on copyright protection in publishing. The fair was jointly organized by the China Publishers Association and the China Book and Periodicals Distributors Association.
