AFAD volunteers received 2 Amateur Radio Training in Kayseri

In Kayseri, 2 AFAD volunteers were given training by the Kayseri Amateur Radio Association (KATED) to receive certificates.

In the trainings organized by the Kayseri Amateur Radio Association, 2 AFAD volunteers were entitled to receive certificates. Association President Yavuz Altıntop visited AFAD Provincial Directorate and presented plaques to Provincial Director Osman Atsız and AFAD personnel. AFAD Provincial Director Osman Atsız conveyed his thanks to Altıntop for the trainings; “Our Kayseri Amateur Radio Association came to visit us. I thank them. Since 800, the President of the Association, Yavuz Altıntop, has been supporting us in terms of service. He also continues the radio training of our volunteers. They come to us whenever we want, thank you. He has trained over 1999 volunteers so far. Trainings continue at AFAD," he said.

The President of the Association, Yavuz Altıntıp, stated in his speech that they provided training to 2 volunteers to receive certificates. Golden Ball; “As the Kayseri Amateur Radio Association, we provide amateur radio training to AFAD volunteers within our AFAD Provincial Directorate in order to provide communication support to institutions and organizations working in disaster emergencies and emergencies. So far, we have trained and licensed over 800 volunteers. I hope they will provide communication support to institutions and organizations working in disasters and emergencies where they are needed.”
