Nejat Kök, one of the former presidents of the Turkish Athletics Federation, was buried in İzmir with a funeral held on the last day of the year.
Nejat Kök, a trainer who served athletics for many years and one of the former presidents of the Turkish Athletics Federation, was buried in Karabağlar after the funeral ceremony in İzmir.
TAF President Fatih Çintimar, together with Semra Aksu, Mehmet Tümkan and Prof.Dr. Kök's funeral, attended by prominent figures of the athletics community such as Emin Ergen, was buried at Paşaköprü Cemetery in Karabağlar district, after the prayer at Hocazade Mosque in Alsancak.
TAF President Çintimar emphasized that Nejat Kök, with whom he had the opportunity to work for a while, is a world-class authority with technical knowledge and said, “Today we bid farewell to our brother Nejat. I wish God's mercy on him. We will always remember your services with gratitude. Condolences to our entire community,” he said.
