TTI Outdoor Camping, Caravan, Boat, Outdoor and Equipment Fair, which was organized together with the 16th TTI İzmir International Tourism Trade Fair and Congress, organized in partnership with İZFAŞ and TÜRSAB Fair Organization, was held for the second time this year.
Within the scope of TTI Outdoor İzmir, which is open to the public, on the first day of the fair, İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Tunç Soyer and TÜRSAB President Firuz Bağlıkaya, a campfire was lit in the caravan park area. During the fair, many activities and events were organized for nature lovers. The fair created a center of attraction for those who want to live in harmony with nature and to be in touch with nature. Caravans, tiny houses, special purpose vehicles, travel trailers, caravan sub-industry and accessories, camping equipment and equipment, caravan rental agencies, boats below 10 meters, boat equipment and accessories, nature and adventure sports equipment, bicycle, 4X4 / Off-Road The 2nd TTI Outdoor İzmir, where product groups such as vehicles and equipment, water sports equipment, bicycle and sailing clubs and associations took place, was the meeting point of nature lovers for four days.

Özdem Çoban, Founder of the Karavan Forum Platform, emphasized that people's interest in nature and their desire to be in nature increased during and after the pandemic, "Holiday habits have changed, things like being in nature and camping have become a way of life for many people. The interest in products such as camps, caravans and tiny houses increased in parallel with this. We are also struggling to ensure that the preferences of users who want to enter this ecosystem are environmentally friendly and sustainable. We predicted that the fair would be successful, and the exhibitors and visitors are all very happy. They are already making plans for next year. It is a pleasure and an honor to take part in this organization and to be in this project with İZFAŞ and TÜRSAB. Despite the rain and storm warning, the interest of the people of Izmir at the weekend was also worth seeing.”
İbrahim Şenel from TriDomes company, which produces glamping and dome tents, said, “This year we attended the fair for the first time. There is intense participation from the business community and the end consumer. Although it was our first participation, we were satisfied. People's interest in such structures has increased recently. With the changing habits, the differentiation of expectations, the preference to be more intertwined with nature on holiday, the desire to be isolated and in nature instead of crowded hotels increased the interest even more. That's why there is a lot of interest in the facilities made of such tents. We serve both to many points in our country and to many countries with our products. We will be at the fair with our different models next year”.
Hakan Baykoz, the founder of HB Tiny House, said, “It is a very good fair for Izmir, the people of Izmir and the Aegean love nature, the sea and camping. He shows interest, the children seem to be at the feast. People come here as if they are coming to a holiday place. We are also promoting our products in this environment and we have received many orders. There is a great curiosity towards nature. People show a lot of interest. Last year was also good, people are more conscious this year. We will continue to be at the fair by improving ourselves every year.”
Fevzi Aras, who designed a mini caravan that offers practical accommodation for those traveling with electric bicycles under the brand of Raod Snail Camper, presented the caravan he produced to the visitors for the first time at TTI Outdoor Izmir. Stating that the caravan is big enough for one person to sleep comfortably, Aras said, “I am also a bicycle and motorcycle user and I was camping in tents. This design was born out of the problems I faced. This caravan, designed by me, offers you the opportunity to camp in four seasons regardless of natural conditions. It is safer due to its height from the ground, more sheltered from wild animals than a tent. We also have a solar panel pack where you can charge the batteries. The trailer, which can be mounted on electric bikes, weighs 50 kilograms and can carry up to 150 kilograms. We are very happy with the interest we have received," he said.
Açelya Görgü from Terra Tiny House said, “We attended the fair for the first time as we are a new company. It was a very crowded and enjoyable fair. We were pleased with the interest we received and we made many sales, including our product here. We want to be here next year as well,” he said.
Visitors participating in the fair also expressed their satisfaction by stating that they both had the opportunity to examine the products they wanted and had fun with the events organized.
