Under the coordination of the Turkish Human Resources Education and Health Foundation (TİKAV), founded by Akfen Holding, the project “Savings is in Our House, The Future is in Our Hands” for women living in the regions where the 27 power plants of Akfen Renewable Energy are located has been completed.
With the project “Savings in Our House, the Future in Our Hands”, 2 women living in the power plants of Akfen Renewable Energy were trained on adopting saving methods within the family and ensuring a life-style in harmony with nature, in today's world where the impact of environmental and economic problems has increased.
With the trainings organized within the scope of the project, the participants were informed about the wise and conscious use of electrical energy and water, and their awareness was raised on contributing to both the home economy and the ecological balance of the world. After the seminars, certificates and savings kits were also given to the participants.
Reached 4 women in 6 different projects
Within the scope of “Savings is in Our House, Future is in Our Hands” project, Anamur in Mersin, Karacasu and Bozdoğan in Aydın, Acıpayam and Kale in Denizli, Seydikemer and Ula in Muğla, Aziziye in Erzurum, Merkez in Elazığ, Sarayönü in Konya and Ereğli, Yahyalı in Kayseri, Gemerek in Sivas, Turhal in Tokat, Merkez in Amasya, Dereli and Bulancak in Giresun, Köprübaşı in Trabzon, Edremit in Van, Gevye in Sakarya and Merkez and Lapseki in Çanakkale met with women in their region.
In 2017, with the cooperation of TIKAV and Akfen Renewable Energy, we reached 0 women in 6 regions with the project "We Have Been Schooled At Home" in the development of children in the 15-800 age group. Health training was given to 2018 women in 17 regions with the "Health First" project in the theme of 500, which was determined as Health.
In the "Hygiene is Health" project, which started in 2019, 26 thousand women were reached at 2 different points, while 2 women were trained in the "Saving House, Future is in our Hand" project, which was implemented after the pandemic. Thus, a total of 500 women were given face-to-face training on various subjects in 4 different social responsibility projects. The number of people reached indirectly through the projects has exceeded 6 thousand.
