Tüdanya (born 1961, Bergama, İzmir), Turkish arabesque singer and film actor. He was born as one of the nine children of a poor family from Bergama in the Bergama district of Izmir. She quit her education after the 3rd grade of primary school. He married for 10 years at a young age and had 2 children. She started singing after her divorce.
Tüdanya, who started to work in Cengiz Özşener's Diamond Pavilion and sang Turkish Classical Music in the first years, released the album 'Sıra Sıra Dağlar' in 1983 and sold 700.000. The subsequent 'Azap', albeit more unsuccessful, sold 1986 copies, excluding pirates, with his 3rd album, 'Seni Unloved Dead,' in 2.000.000. Later, hundreds of covers of this song were made and sung by dozens of Artists.
He is the only singer who appeared in İzmir Fair for 11 years without interruption. She also acted in feature films with Münir Özkul, Salih Kırmızı and Murat Soydan during the period of songs with songs.
In 1995, she was nominated for the 1st Kral TV Video Music Awards in the category of Arabesque best female artist at the Kral TV Video Music Awards with the song 'O Asker'.
On October 16, 2007, after the concert he gave in Amasya, on his way to attend another concert held in Turhal district of Tokat, he had a traffic accident in the Aydınca locality of Tüdanya with his friends. He was injured in the accident, and his hip bone was broken, and he was taken to Amasya Sabuncuoğlu Şerefeddin State Hospital for treatment.
Tudanya, who had a heart attack in 2020 and got throat cancer in 2021, gave her last concert in Istanbul Cahide in 2018 before losing her voice. Tüdanya, who took the stage with Gülden Karaböcek, Ayta Sözeri and Demet Evgar in the night organized by the 37th Istanbul Film Festival for the 30th anniversary of the Arabesque feature film, sang the songs 'You Don't Love Me Dead' and 'My Peace Is Left'. In February 2022, artist Haluk Levent rushed to the aid of Tüdanya, who was experiencing troubled times after being diagnosed with throat cancer. Levent, founder of AHBAP Association; “He is in a very, very difficult situation. Cancer on one hand and homelessness on the other. Come on guys, we can do it!” He started a charity campaign for the artist.
