Family and Social Services Minister Derya Yanık announced that the applications for the Winter Natural Gas Consumption Support, which started to be received as of September 5, will continue until December 25.
Stating that all citizens in need, residing in 616 districts with natural gas infrastructure and having a natural gas subscription at their residence address, can benefit from the Natural Gas Consumption Support, Minister Yanık said, “Our winter period payments continue in the Natural Gas Consumption Support that we have implemented for the households in need. . Our citizens can apply via e-Government. The amount of support we have determined based on the thermal map varies between 900 TL and 2.500 TL per year. Applications for the Winter Natural Gas Consumption Support, which we started to receive as of September 5th, will continue until December 25th.
Noting that they made new arrangements before the winter period so that more households can benefit from the Natural Gas Consumption Support Program, Minister Yanık said:
“Applications for the winter period continue for the Natural Gas Consumption Support, which has been implemented for households in need. We also included our tenants who were not included in our previous period in the scope of support. Accordingly, our citizens living in residential households, residing as landlords or tenants, who meet the application requirements, can benefit from the support.”
Underlining that households using both postpaid and prepaid meters can benefit from the Natural Gas Consumption Support, Minister Yanık said, “Our citizens can benefit from the support by going to the PTT after their e-Government application is approved and submitting their invoices. On the other hand, we deposit the support amount of our citizens who use prepaid meters to their cards.”
Stating that the payments are made within certain periods within the scope of the Natural Gas Consumption Support Program, Minister Yanık said, “In the first of the payments we made in the winter period, we paid 366.524 million TL to our 271,8 households. In our second payment, we will pay 178.261 million TL to our 130,8 households. Thus, within the scope of the Natural Gas Consumption Support Program winter period, we will have provided a total of 544 million TL support to more than 402,6 thousand households before the end of this year.”
An additional 5% payment is made to chronic patients with a medical report.
Reminding that they will make additional payments to chronic patients who have a health report or to citizens who depend on the device, Minister Yanık said, “Our citizens are required to submit the report information about the disease they declared at the time of application, upon request. In addition to the amount of support we have determined, we pay 5 percent more to the households where our patients live.” he said.
There are criteria for benefiting from support.
In order for households to benefit from the “Natural Gas Consumption Support” program, the applicant must;
• Being a Turkish citizen,
• Applying to the support program through the e-Government portal,
• Being residing in the district/town where natural gas supply is provided,
• Presence of a natural gas subscription connected to a prepaid or postpaid meter at the residence address
• The invoice to be paid belongs to the residential subscriber group belonging to the official residence address,
• Decision of entitlement by the relevant SYD Foundation,
