Ankara Fire Department's Number of Stations in the Capital Will Reach 48

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, which started improvement works at the fire stations in Akyurt, Nallıhan, Etimesgut and Haymana due to insufficient physical conditions, completed these works last year and at the same time moved the Pursaklar Fire Station to the newly built building in Keçiören Bağlum.

ABB also recently held the tender for 2 new station buildings to be built in Yenimahalle Yuva and Gölbaşı Tulumtaş Neighborhoods.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality uses its resources to solve the urgent problems of the capital citizens and meet their needs. In this context, ABB, which has undersigned projects that prioritize the safety of life and property of the citizens of the Capital, renewed 4 fire stations that completed their economic life, and moved one station to its new building.

ABB, which follows technological innovations in order to provide more effective and faster service in the capital city with an increasing and developing population, will also add two new and modern fire stations to Yenimahalle Yuva and Gölbaşı Tulumtaş Neighborhoods to strengthen the fire department.

5 STATIONS REBUILT AGAIN

After ABB President Mansur Yavaş took office, Ankara Fire Brigade, which employed 445 personnel on merit basis and reduced the average age to 40, completed the renovation and construction works it started in 5 districts last summer and improved its physical conditions.

While the fire stations in Akyurt, Nallıhan, Etimesgut and Haymana were completely renovated and brought into line with the requirements of the era, Pursaklar Fire Station was moved to the newly built building in Keçiören Bağlum.

NUMBER OF STATIONS WILL REACH 48

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality has recently held a tender for 2 new station buildings in order to be able to respond more quickly and effectively to events that may occur in Yuva and Tulumtaş Neighborhoods and the surrounding areas.

In the station buildings, where all kinds of needs of firefighters are considered, there are dining hall, switchboard room, dormitories, dressing and dressing rooms. In order for the firefighters working on a 7/24 basis to use their spare time and meet their various needs, there will be various sports areas in and around the fire station.

With the completion of the stations to be constructed by the Department of Science Affairs, the number of stations of the Ankara Fire Department in the capital city will have reached 48.
