TAF President Fatih Çintimar met with members of the press before the 87th Great Atatürk Race to be held in Ankara on Sunday.
Preparations for the 25th of the Great Atatürk Race, which will be held in Ankara on Sunday, December 87, have been completed. Speaking at the press conference held at the Ankara Tennis Club before the race, TAF President Fatih Çintimar stated that they were happy to organize the race, which received 4000 applications this year, as in the old days, and thanked the sponsors Decathlon and Teknocell, who participated and supported the race.
President Çintimar stated that the race will take place in a way befitting the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Athletics Federation and said, “It will be a very beautiful, historical race”.
On behalf of the Confederation of Turkish Amateur Sports Clubs (TASKK), Vice President Abdullah Albunar, Ankara Provincial Directorate of Sports Branch Manager Soner Başkaya, Athletics Federation General Secretary Sold Atmaca and Ankara Athletics Provincial Representative Gönül Bağcı also attended the meeting. It was stated that the winners of the race will also be given gold by Draft.
The 87th Great Atatürk Race will be run between Dikmen and Ankara Train Station on Sunday, May 25 at 14:05.
