Toyota continues to break sales records in Turkey with its Toyota Professional product range. The Toyota light commercial vehicle product range, consisting of Hilux pick-up, Proace City and Proace City Cargo models, soon became an indispensable part of commercial vehicle users.
Bringing Toyota quality to the light commercial vehicle segment with Toyota's distinctive services, the models achieved high sales figures in September as well. Toyota sold 838 light commercial vehicles in Turkey in September, of which 658 belonged to Hilux, 151 to Proace City and 29 to Proace City Cargo. Standing out with its stylish design, versatility, passenger car comfort and high carrying capacity, Proace City also reached the highest sales volume of all time in September. 3 percent of Toyota sales, which made a total of 791 sales in September, consisted of light commercial vehicles.
With these sales figures, Toyota achieved the highest light commercial vehicle sales of all time in Turkey with 9 units in the first 7 months, and achieved a sales increase of 127 percent compared to last year. Hilux continued to shine as Toyota's most preferred light commercial vehicle. The Hilux model, which has a sales figure of over 6,6 thousand in the first 9 months, is also one of the most preferred models in its segment in Turkey. In the first 5 months of sales performance, the Hilux model was followed by Proace City with 9 units and Proace City Cargo with 1609 units. Toyota's market share in light commercial vehicles, on the other hand, increased by 514 points compared to last year and reached 2,1 percent.
Toyota's commercial vehicles are under the Toyota Warranty System for 5 years/150.000 km, unique in their segment. In this way, Toyota always keeps the heavily used light commercial vehicles under Toyota warranty. At the same time, Toyota commercial vehicle users can extend their vehicle warranties with the Warranty ON system up to 10 years and 160 thousand kilometers with periodic maintenance.
