Fatih Kısaparmak (born 31 January 1961; Maden, Elazığ) is a Turkish folk music artist, musician, composer and lyricist.

He was born in Elazig, Maden. His mother, Yıldız Hanım, is a retired primary school teacher; his father, Necip Bey, served as the principal of secondary and teacher schools, the provincial director of national education, the general director of secondary education, and the head of the ministry inspection board, respectively; He is a bureaucrat who has five works in print.

In 1991, she married the economist Şebnem Ergür (Kısaparmak), who was the main news anchor and program host of TRT, Kanal 6, TGRT, Kanal 7, Star TV, Samanyolu and Fox televisions. Two sons, Ozan and Kaan, were born from this marriage.

Fatih Kısaparmak has been playing music at Ankara State Conservatory and TRT Ankara Radio since his basic education period; He also worked on painting at the State Fine Arts Gallery. During his student years at Ankara Bahçelievler Trial High School, he worked as a photojournalist for the Tasvir Newspaper. During his university years, his poems, interviews and researches were published in various literary and art journals, especially Varlık. He has a scientific study titled “Harput Dialect in Terms of Language Folklore”, in which he collected reviews and compilations in the Upper Euphrates Basin, and also a poetry book called “Ve Ağır Sevdam”.

In 1985, he started his professional career as a composer, lyricist and interpreter. His first work, “Kilim”, reached large audiences. Having continued his music career with 17 music albums he later produced, Kısaparmak has composed more than 200 compositions. He was also known as "Contemporary Ozan", "Mr. Kilim" and "Turkic Baba".

Fatih Kısaparmak founded two separate concert orchestras, "Grup Kilim" and "Grup Mozaik", respectively. In addition to the earthquake victims in Erzincan, Gölcük and Pakistan, and those who lost their lives in the Zonguldak firestorm disaster, Darülaceze, Unicef ​​etc. organized “Social Solidarity and Aid Concerts” for the benefit of institutions. He gave many concerts in Turkey, USA, Russia, Australia, Germany, Austria, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Venezuela, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

Fatih Kısaparmak, who served as a member of the board of directors of Malatyaspor and Elâzığspor for a total of 3 terms, worked as a manager and general secretary at the Elâzığ People's Solidarity Association, in addition to his founding membership in the Istanbul-Elâzığ Culture Foundation. The artist, who was deemed worthy of nearly 70 awards by Turkey's leading institutions and organizations, was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in 2000 by the Fırat University Senate for his contributions to folk music and folklore.
