“As a physician, I prefer not to remove any substance from the teeth. We doctors call this approach the minimally invasive approach. So this is an approach where we aim to remove as little tissue from the tooth as possible.”

Nazan Nur Arık said that with the development of technology, increasing alternatives are frequently used in dentistry and said, “In addition to orthodontics, the Digital Smile Design protocol, which we call DSD, is frequently applied all over the world. In other words, before starting orthodontic treatment, we design a smile for our patients and finish the orthodontic treatment according to this design. With this treatment, we do not remove any material from the teeth and we can provide the ideal smile with leaf porcelain and aesthetic materials that we place on the teeth.
