Malatya City Council made a trip to Malatya Airport and Malatya Train Station in cooperation with the Handicapped Working Group and the 3 December Barrier-Free Life Association. Malatya Airport Manager Serdar Akyüz, Malatya Train Station Deputy Manager Ziyaettin Selçuk, City Council Disabled Working Group Representative Naile Altuntaş, disabled children and their families attended the tour.
Malatya City Council Disabled Working Group Representative Naile Altuntaş said, “Our children were very curious about the airport. They couldn't come to the city because of their disability, thanks to you, we showed the children around the airport today," he said. Stating that they take care to carry out these and similar studies on the adaptation of disabled children to social life, Altıntaş said, "We would like to thank the officials and employees of Malatya Airport and Malatya Train Station for hosting us."
Malatya Train Station Deputy Manager Ziyaettin Selçuk said that they help disabled citizens as an institution and said, “We are preparing our platforms in a way that the disabled can get on more comfortably at the next train stations. As an institution, we try to include the disabled as much as we can, to join them, we try to win them.”
Disabled children and their families expressed their satisfaction with the tour program and thanked Airport Manager Serdar Akyüz, Malatya Train Station Deputy Manager Ziyaettin Selçuk and City Council Handicapped Working Group Representative Naile Altuntaş.
