With the initiatives of Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality, Bandırma Entrance Interchange and 6th Main Jet Base Interchange were constructed by the General Directorate of Highways. With the junction prepared by the Metropolitan Municipality in order to alleviate the traffic load of Bandırma, the traffic flow in Bandırma has become safer.
Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality; It continues its efforts and initiatives in order to prevent the negative effects of increasing transportation problems on the citizens of Bandırma, which grows and develops day by day. Two level crossings and intersections with traffic lights located at the Bandırma entrance and near the Military Lodgings were removed with the projects prepared by the Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Department of Transportation, Planning and Rail Systems, and instead of them, multi-storey intersections were built. The construction of Bandırma Entrance Interchange and 6th Main Jet Base Interchange on Bursa-Çanakkale Road, which is in the network of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure General Directorate of Highways, was carried out by the General Directorate of Highways.
With the new junctions brought to Bandırma, the traffic flow in the district has been made safer and more comfortable. From the entrance of the district, the traffic load has been lightened and it has been transformed into a healthier state.
