Bursa Textile Show, which was organized for the eighth time this year under the leadership of Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO), has come to an end. Nearly 3 local and foreign industry professionals visited the fair held in Bursa Merinos Atatürk Congress and Culture Center for 5 days.
The stands of Bursa companies were flooded with visitors at the Bursa Textile Show, which was held for the 8th time by BTSO and where garment fabric and accessory products were exhibited. Industry professionals from 50 different countries, mainly England, Russia, Spain, Mexico and the Netherlands, visited the fair. Foreign buyers had the opportunity to meet with 133 Bursa companies participating in the fair and examine their 2022-23 autumn/winter fabric collections. During the fair, nearly 10 thousand bilateral business meetings were held. Many order agreements were signed at the fair, where each company held an average of 75 business meetings.
“Important Actors Gathered at Bursa Textile Show”
BTSO Vice Chairman of the Board İsmail Kuş stated that Bursa is an important center in the international arena with its quality production and design in the textile and fabric sector, and said, “We left behind our fair where international companies took part and important actors came together. Bursa Textile Show, which we held for the 8th time, is among the important fairs that made a lot of noise. It is important that companies such as Zara, Armani and Hugo Boss are at the fair. These companies are the largest companies in the world and their purchase tonnage is very high. We will continue to contribute to Bursa and our country by expanding our fair in the upcoming period. Our Chairman of the Board of Directors İbrahim Burkay also gave the good news on the first day of the fair. Hopefully, we will hold the next Bursa Textile Show at our international fair center. I would like to thank our textile industry representatives, especially the Ministry of Trade, who have taken care of the fair since the first day, and all our stakeholders who supported the organization of our fair.” said.
Firms and Foreign Buyers were Satisfied with the Fair
Bursa Textile Show brought together buyers from different parts of the world with companies for 3 days. At the fair, where many world-famous brands were also present, the buyers had the opportunity to examine the 2022-23 autumn/winter fabric collections and left the Bursa Textile Show satisfied.

Seçen Tekstil Company Representative Soykan Gülseçen stated that they were very pleased with the fair with visitors from 50 different countries and said, “We have been attending Bursa Textile Show since its first year. Timhan Tekstil Representative Denisa Aydın stated that the fair met her expectations and said, “We presented our products in both knitting and weaving. Our meetings went very well, we were satisfied with the fair.” she said.

“Quality Fabrics Exhibited”
Lijanna Nagle, who came to Bursa from the Netherlands to visit the fair, stated that she recently attended the fair held in March. Expressing that this time the fair was much more active and lively, she said that very beautiful fabrics were exhibited.
Eric Chavez, who came to the fair from Mexico, emphasized that he came to the fair for the 5th time and that it was a very successful fair. Stating that they can find a wide variety of quality fabrics for the Mexican market, he added that he will continue to attend this fair in the coming years.
